thats what game used looked like before players sold them after 1 game.. that jersey was used a few seasons....

I saw that Garrett jersey. Those back numbers are awful. What's the story with that?

The team crest on the Mets jersey is a mess as are the numbers...I was thinking of bidding on the Garrett because he was one of my late fathers favorite players and then stripping the whole jersey.Not sure where to get the team crest done though because mlb frowns upon that...If it is cheap enough I might still go for it though just as a work in progress...

the black armband for Gil Hodges is absent...

I received an email from Dave Miedema about this jersey. It reads:

The Hodges armband was worn on 1972 Mets jerseys. What IS missing is the red/white/blue Liberty Bell BiCentennial patch the A's wore in '76.
