I agree. I'd be ok with a piece that was totally destroyed beforehand. Like if a jersey got caught in the dryer and ripped to shreds, thats fine. If a bat shatters in a dozen pieces, ok no problem. Just stop screwing with the intact stuff.
Then again, I think game used cards are all phony to begin with.

Has anyone seen the pens made from game used bats? Can we please stop ruining pieces of baseball history in order to make a profit? I have an idea...let's tear the constitution apart and sell the pieces! When will it stop

Would this fall into the category of an earlier thread about people who wear their game worn items? LOL! I think this is stretching it a little too far.
The swatch is nice, but I think it would look better on a Yankees spring warm up jacket, a Yankees nylon pullover, or at least a jacket that matched the team colors. Someone will buy it though.

the possibilities are endless....a game used bat piece inside my baseball bat. combine a babe ruth ted williams and albert pujols bat pieces together some good epoxy and bam...
just think about the shower shoe possibilities alone
