    Great work all!

We keep forgetting that, especially in the earlier times, teams didn't care as much as we do about the sizes of fonts on jerseys. Pretty unusual situation, but really cool findings by all as it is educational for future references.

    That's a home jersey, though.

    See there?...... Interesting....

It does appear to have a larger top to it, like the Scott jersey.

maybe the second "1" on the front may have been restored
That would be a pretty poor restoration, seeing there is the perfect template already on the jersey.

An easy thing to look for in photos.

I think it was Rich Jones of the ABA's NY Nets that wore #33, but had two different sized 3s on front. I think it was from the 1976 ABA finals. Somewhere I saw that jersey up for bid and I think it had the mismatched 3s.
    Good point, Greg.

If only every piece would be that easy to photo match because of such a difference. I wonder if anyone could fine a pic of this one?

Again, I have NO experience in basketball jerseys......but upon further inspection (from the site, blown up picture, which is the best I can do) it appears to me that maybe the second "1" on the front may have been restored? I am not in any way questioning the authenticity of the jersey, but that second "1" just seemed a bit off to me...

Is it just me, or is the second "1" on the front of the jersey substantially taller than the first?

Pretty cool looking vintage jersey with vintage tagging.

Anyone else wish to share any of the 850 lots that they do not have issues with?

Um......Without getting into the pie throwing contest, I do have a legit question about the Scott jersey....

Is it just me, or is the second "1" on the front of the jersey substantially taller than the first? Is that the way the jerseys are supposed to be?

Seriously.....I am not a basketball (or Celtics) jersey expert, and looking at it just made me wonder....They apparently line up at the bottom, but the second "1" appears much taller.

Just an observation......anyone have a comment?

Ever notice that that rodeo clown's post count really jumps whenever GFC has an auction? You think he's on the payroll?
