I sent John an email and he has not wrote back yet. But i went and looked at the listing again and it don't show PSA/DNA under Authentication anymore, just historics auction house letter?

The bat was not manufactured in 1953. Possibly it is an Old Timers Game from 1965 (1973) or later that primarily featured members of the 1953 Braves and Cardinals teams, along with other former members of the clubs. Who knows. The first thing to do is ask Historic for a copy (or at least a transcript) of the John Taube LOA and see what John says. The liklihood is that John's letter will make much more sense than the auction description and pics.

In historic's auction they have Casey Stengel's old timers game used bat from 1953-Braves vs. Cardinals. The thing i don't get is that the center label dates from 1965-69. What are your thoughts about it.
