I have some kickers/punters jerseys with repairs...

I would think that they only used 1 home and 1 away for a punter back then so I would think that he tried to make a least 1 tackle so you would see some grass stains or at least some wear...

I just want to make sure that this was used rather than "Team Issued" or a retail jersey turned into a "game used" jersey.

Since he was a punter how much use were you expecting? I would say a Ray Guy jersey with a lot of use would raise a red flag.

Awesome...thanks! Did the Raiders use a lot of jerseys during a season? The auction says "Light Use" with "minimal staining"...I would think that for a jersey from this era, that there would be more signs of use.

"MacGregor" Sand Knit tags...no older than 1985.

The nameplate and font of "GUY" looks correct. I have NEVER seen a retail Sand-Knit Raiders shirt with the tags in the collar. Have seen gamers with the tags in the collar. Guy did play in '85 and '86. It looks legit from the photographs.
