Re: NFL AUCTIONS - Game Used
I just started collecting jerseys in October so far I have Ellis, Ferguson and Thomas Blue throwbacks from the 9-27 game and a Revis home jersey from the Jacksonville game from JO Sports. I am selling the Thomas and a few non-Jets jerseys to buy a Thomas Jones and I hope to pick up a Mangold in the near future. Besides the Jerricho jersey from the Grey Flannel auction you mentioned in another thread, have you picked up anything lately?Leave a comment:

Re: NFL AUCTIONS - Game Used
The question is if it was the same jersey listed twice or he wore two in that game. I have noticed a few jerseys apparently being relisted because I assume the winning bidder did not pay for them.Leave a comment:

Re: NFL AUCTIONS - Game Used
There were 2 Brian Dawkins AFL legacy throwback jerseys that were between $825-$875 each. Both listings said they were used on the same date.

Re: NFL AUCTIONS - Game Used
Looks like the Cribbs, Hutchinson, and Williams jerseys are blowing past the last ones that were on there as far as price goes. Cant wait to see what they list superbowl weekendLeave a comment:

Re: NFL AUCTIONS - Game Used
Hey Legaleagle, I was bidding on the Kevin Williams and dropped out after it got to $650. I ended up going for the Steve Hutchinson and the Ryan Longwell, winning both. I am a huge Vikings guy and wanted those for my wall.
I liked the throwback style of the Williams though. Great piece!Leave a comment:

I think the Williams one and the Favre were the only two to go under what I expected. Some was a little high though...Leave a comment:

Lol that is like the pot calling the kettle black coming from the guy who won the Jake Long DOLPHINS jersey! In all seriousness I am a huge Jets fan but I like buying jerseys so when I see a good value of one of a star player from another team I buy it. Kevin Williams will be a hall of famer so to me $743 for a signed game used jersey from a Monday Night game qualifies as such.
HA HA!! You don't miss a thing, do you?Leave a comment:

Re: NFL AUCTIONS - Game Used
Yesterday's NFL Auction Highlights:
Jake Long a tad over $1,200
Steve Hutchinson about $650
Julius Peppers a bit over 2 grand
Kevin Williams $743
Dustin Keller about $1,200
Jabar Gafnney $506
Kevin Burnett $765
Matt Hasselbeck $775
Earnest Graham $390
Paul Pos. (Bills LB) a little over a grand
Bruce Gradowski $615
Ryan Longwell $585
Orlando Mare $360
Josh Johnson $460
Lofa Tapatu $903
Farve $14,760.04
Chris Hovan $615
Jeff Faine $430
Ronde Barber $1,580
Davin Joseph $405
Jones Drew worn sideline hat $230
Willie Parker shoes $401
Steve Smith (panthers) shoes $612
Nick Mangold shoes $275
Matt Ryan shoes $507
I think the Barber, Paul Pos. Keller and Peppers went way too high, especially the Paul Pos. and the Keller. A Peppers sold for much less a few weeks ago. The Favre went for less than I expected. The rest were in line with what I expected and given the market seem fair. For full disclosure I bought the Kevin Williams and unsuccessfully bid on the Peppers.Leave a comment:
