I know who the seller is, but I have no recollection nor any evidence of this deal described on eBay as ever taking place. Seller is an OK guy, just apparently served by an incorrect memory. I am not confident in the item, either.

I think everyone I've spoken to is in agreement on this jersey. So far 2 jersey athorities and some other great opinions have me not touching it. I might add, I own a Kong '80 Home and 79 Road, BOTH size 48 as well as other friends who own Kingman Cubs jerseys size 48. I know Dave wore 48 with the Cubs, 44 coming up briefly with SF, and 46 with other clubs. The ebay 46 is inconsistant in more ways than one. I just did not want anybody to get burned here. I will not be going after it!

The font on the strip and year tag does look like it's home made. I've attached some pictures of some tagging form a Buckner 79 that I know is correct. I'm no expert on Cubs jerseys, but I've seen enough over the years to form an opinion.
