I will say this, I own a game used Bucs super bowl helmet of #30 Darian barnes. It was bought from a storage unit auction when he did not pay his rent when he was with the cowboys, 5 photo matches, and picked up a jersey and family photo album of Barnes, not doubt to me that it isn't legit. Here is the thing that is odd about the Sapp helmet....

The inside helmet decal number sticker is a different color AND Font.

Thank you for your responses. That helped a lot and confirmed my opinion. I did not ask for the date codes but don`t think that this one is Sapp`s helmet. My main concerns are the positions of the decals. However the seller offers a Sapp jersey from 2000 too.

I asked Warren Sapp and he said it isn't his. He told me that he and Tim Brown swapped helmets after the Super Bowl. He also said that all helmets he has worn are accounted for. I'm not saying it isn't an authentic gamer, but it most certainly isn't Sapp's, according to him.

It seems like Warren Sapp stuff isnt that desirable among collects for some reason, weird.

I have wondered the same. Everything looks good but I am unsure of the number decal located inside the helmet. The only ones I have ever seen are a rectangular white decal with black numbers. Not sure if they used this style at some point. I know the owner had a Raiders Romanowski helmet and a Derrick burgess helmet that were both the real deal. Anyone else have any ideas????
