but should I be wary or on the lookout for these Scoreboard/Game Used items??? Is there an advertisement that Scoreboard made, that showcased most of these player jerseys? Just saying cause Ive seen these regularly.

The Darryl Strawberry is not an 86 -- in fact there are two of them -- a 1990 home Mets jersey and a Dodgers jersey as well.

If you do a search for Scoreboard jerseys, you will find a LOT of information on this site; lists of all of them, photos, even scans of the original magazine ads for them with photos and prices.

They "get around" because there are dozens, if not over 100 of them made.

That is higher than what these tend to sell for normally, which is in the ballpark of $100 or so. $150 is not too off the mark, and still less than the cost of a new authentic jersey at (retailer of your choice).

Thankfully the message is getting out about these Scoreboard jerseys. A real Jefferies gamer of this era would likely sell for $300 or so.

Yes, this is probably another scoreboard Jefferies. I just can't believe how we see one of these every month or two and each time the seller presents it as game used & seemingly has never heard of Scoreboard.

The actual tagging of an actual 1990 home should look identical to this (and of course the same as the other hundreds of Scoreboard reproductions too). The odds of this being the actual 1990 home Jefferies are the same as your chance of finding a needle in a haystack.
