Re: Beware Victorino bat on eBay
Just so you all know, this bat at one time had the missing area of the break colored in black. Looks like someone tried scrap the area clean, you can still see the darken area from the ink. It was originally being sold by mightymaur69, who colored the are in.

Re: Beware Victorino bat on eBay
Being a Hawaii collector and a big Shane Victorino fan, my friend Ron Samiano offered me 4 Shane Victorino bats last year, I ended buying 2 of the 4 Victorino bats, as you can see in the photo of the knobs that Ron sent to me, three had markings on the end and the M9 had no number written.
The seller just ruined a perfectly legit Shane Victorino bat and lied saying: "HAS ALL TEAM MARKINGS ON BOTH ENDS." Sellers/collectors need to leave items in the exact condition they receive, sooner or later it will come back and bite you in the ass!
Thanks to Scott and Ron for bringing the bat to the attention of the GUU members.
Thanks,
Bobby

Re: Beware Victorino bat on eBay
That buyer is so wierd. Buys the bat for $300 alters the bat, then is willing to sell it for $300. You can definitely tell it's the same bat because of the ball impressions. Go figure?Leave a comment:

Hey, Scott, is this the actual person who bought it from you? I notice neither of you left feedback.

Re: Beware Victorino bat on eBay
Which means he bought a bat, altered it, and is going to sell it for slightly less than he paid for it??
Is it me, or is something not making sense here?

Re: Beware Victorino bat on eBay
I asked him what the lowest he would take for the bat & what year the bat was from.
His reply was:
"$300. plus $15. shipping from 2009, thanks!"Leave a comment:

Re: Beware Victorino bat on eBay
The COA mention has been removed from the auction description, but still no explanation in the description of the addition of the number on the knob and cupped end (other than earlywynnfan's) after the bat was obtained.
The auction states that it has "all team markings on both ends."
As a former owner of this bat I can confirm that there wasn't anything written on the ends.
Kind Regards,
Ron.

Funny story: I emailed the seller, asking why he added the numbers to both ends. His reply?
"not sure"
Priceless!

Beware Victorino bat on eBay
I sold this bat back in the ending part of july. The missing piece was not colored in an to the best of my memory I don't remember it having any number written on the knob or cup. It is a legit Victorino bat, but it has bin altered. Just thought I'd give anyone interested a heads up.
Here's my listing
As you can see, not blacked out. I cant find a picture of the knob or cup, but I'm about 95% sure that the numbers were not there. Maybe Ron could chime in, as I bought it from him originally.Tags: None
