Misdescribed...or worse?
Ebay currently has what's advertised as a game worn Lou Brock Cardinals jacket up for auction, said to be 1970s according to the seller and the accompanying Lou Lampson LOA.
Anyway, the Wilson tag below shows a style of tag not used until 1987:
Also, the description indicates that the curled up tag underneath the Wilson tag is marked "CY", which would date the manufacture of the jacket to February, 1990.
At best, it's a jacket worn by Brock in 1990 spring training for instructor purposes; at worst...who knows.
An attempt to contact the seller regarding this item as per GUU rules was made; however, the seller is not accepting emails through eBay.
