I don't know what it is about NFL Auctions... but people overpay by about 30% on everything on that site. Only on NFL Auctions could a Lawrence Maroney signed replica jersey sell for $125 these days...

I wouldn't touch that Peterson monstrosity... and I'd bet money it goes for over a grand. Easy.

Great catch Paul. Vikings collectors, does this hold more value or less considering it's a) a real authentic jersey b) an authentic autograph on a number from his best season and c) an anomaly. Or is it d) Messed up to have that number on that jersey.

Well, what's wrong with it?

It's a 2013 (new style) Vikings jersey with 2012 (old style) numbers...

It's well-known that they make autographed 'authentic' jerseys for NFL auctions by taking a blank jersey in the proper cut / size for that player, then stitch pre-signed numbers to them.

So they must of had extra signed Adrian Peterson numbers leftover from 2012, and then they ran out of 2012 Vikings jerseys... So they just decided to stitch those numbers to a 2013 jersey...

It's a little embarrassing if you ask me.
