Re: Game Used gloves on eBay (Hundley, Korcheck, Willard)
Sorry for not posting sooner. I agree that the solution for the Korcheck was good. 50% refund for it being a store model. Though, I'm still disappointed that a game-issued (not entirely game ready) Hundley glove was sold as game used. Though, I suppose that's a matter of opinion, at some level.

I believe that is one of the 2 or 3 ebay usernames that forum member rchimes13@yahoo.com uses frequently.Leave a comment:

Probably not. Looks like he made his investment back and still has in my opinion the better of the gloves left.Leave a comment:

FWIW, I don't think I'll get a reply, since I noticed it with 3 hrs left in the auction.Leave a comment:

Game Used gloves on eBay (Hundley, Korcheck, Willard)
maddimae18 (who is a member here) has three "game used" gloves listed on eBay:
Steve Korcheck:
Todd Hundley:
All three gloves were acquired from Heritage Auctions in this lot:
One problem is (and I messaged Heritage about it) that the Korcheck is a store/endorsed model glove. Another problem is the Hundley was sold as a back-up glove, and given Heritage's liberal use of "game used," that might mean it never entered a game.
He also has the Willard up:
I don't know enough about minor league Mizuno mitts, so that one is probably good.
Anyway, the original lot sold for $310 (including BP), which was a pretty good deal. I guess I just feel a bit disappointed that a well-known member would be selling a back-up/game issued glove as game used, when the glove notably hasn't been fully broken in yet. The store model Korcheck doesn't surprise me, as much, as it took a lot of research beforehand (while the auction was in session) to figure that out.Tags: None
