I've picked up some great items from them. Just like any source for stuff (eBay, auction house etc) you need to know your collecting niche and you will be fine.

Sure am. That is whom Wade decided to use to sell his items. So they kind of have me cornered.

I bought a few Celebz items. All seem legit even sent a couple to psa, and they passed. (Bat) Although I do not care for Celebz as a company. A few of my items I spoke to Wade Boggs directly after buying. Like all sports memorabilia do your home work. I am sure even Wade made a few mistakes.

All this talk about celebz makes me glad I erased that vlad sig from the game issue bat I had bought....I also tore off the celebz hologram. Maybe it was legit but celebz name just tarnished it for me.

That's kind of a double whammy because you bought from Boyd and the COA is from Celebz.

If it was my bat in the very back of my head if I couldn't 100% photomatch it, i would return it simply because in this case the bat has passed through some questionable people.

I bought this Berkman bat recently and have since read some unflattering things here about the seller (Chris Boyd aka "game-used-bat"). I'm still within the 14-day return window so can cut my losses, but if there's good reason to believe this really is a real rookie-year Berkman gamer I'll keep it. I'm relatively new to collecting GU stuff and it's a minefield.

Any thoughts? Thanks.
