Baseball game worn jersey question. Set 3??

Hi there - hoping for some opinions/education. I am looking at an auction of a game worn baseball jersey. The year tag is 1978 and set 3. I have only seen tags for Set 1 or Set 2. I thought maybe set 3 could refer to playoffs for some reason but the team did not qualify for the playoffs that year. Anyone have any insight? Thank you!!!
