Andre Ethier is an upcoming outfielder for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Ethier was originally drafted by the Oakland Athletics in the 37th round of the 2001 amateur draft. Opting to attend ASU instead, he was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2003 amateur draft, again by the Oakland Athletics. He signed with the Athletics on July 1, 2003. Ethier hit a double and drew a walk in his Major League Baseball debut with the Los Angeles Dodgers on May 2, 2006, against the Arizona Diamondbacks in his home state of Arizona and hit his first Home Run the next night against the San Diego Padres.
This ash professional bat was manufactured in 2007 by MAX BAT and used by Ethier during that season when he hit nearly .290 following his rookie season Batting Average of .308. The bat is a Model MG1, and is 33.5 inches in length and approximately 32 ounces in weight. It is absolutely pounded with use, containing numerous rack marks, ball marks, and hit marks. The bat has a non-displaced crack approximately 7 inches from the handle which extends approximately 8 inches toward the center label. It is difficult to see the crack due to its nature and the heavy application of tar on the handle, and it does not affect the display quality of this bat at all. Ethier's uniform number 16 is written on both ends of this bat, as are notations describing the manufactured length and weight of this near-perfect gamer from this fast-rising Dodger. This bat is sourced from Steiner Sports #08935.View Lot Detail page
