Corey Koskie 2000 Signed Rawlings Game Used Bat

Corey Koskie is one of the most prominent Canadian baseball players currently playing in the major leagues today. Koskie was drafted by the Minnesota Twins in the 26th round of the 1994 amateur draft and subsequently made his Major League debut on September 9, 1998. In 2000 he batted .300 with a .400 on-base percentage and in 2001 he had his most offensively productive season when he hit 26 home runs, had 103 RBI and scored 100 runs.
This bat, manufactured by Rawlings in 2000, was used by Koskie that season as a member of the Minnesota Twins. It is a model 491B and is batch-coded number 866. The bat measures 34.5 inches in length and weighs approximately 31 ounces. A generous amount of tar is present as handle preparation, and extends into the center label. Numerous ball marks and hit marks are present on the barrel. This bat has been cracked on the handle, and as a result a piece of wood approximately 5 inches long and ¾ inch wide is missing from the back of the handle, The missing piece does not affect the display of this bat.
Koskie has signed this black-finished bat in silver marker. The signature is clear and unhurried, and measures approximately 3 inches in length. A LOA from the Minnesota Twins dated 11/14/2000 accompanies this bat..
