Re: 1962 Jim King Washington Senators Road Flannel
Hello Terry,
As per the previous post, the winning bidder will have the option to acquire the hat at a specified price at the end of the auction (the price will be discussed at that time). If the winning bidder is not interested in the hat, we will be happy to discuss the possibility of a sale with other members.
Please let me know if that answers your question.
Sincerely,
Chris

Re: 1962 Jim King Washington Senators Road Flannel
Hello Everyone,
We wanted to let everyone know the winner of this very rare/seldom seen uniform style, also will have the option of purchasing the matching Jim King hat (with a red & white block "W" style also used only for two years, 1961-62)... after the auction through GUU.
Sincerely,

1962 Jim King Washington Senators Road Flannel
Jim King played in the big leagues from 1955 – 1958 and 1961 – 1967. Although not known as a star, he did hit 24 home runs in 1963 with the Washington Senators and quickly became a fan favorite. He also played with the Cubs, Cardinals, Giants, White Sox and Indians.
This road gray Washington Senators flannel exhibits moderate to heavy game use. The use is very even and consistent with no holes or thin spots. The "WASHINGTON" font is dark navy block lettering and is all original. The #30 on the back is identical to the Washington front in material and stitching and is also all original. The year (62) and size tags (44) are all original and are found on the left front tail. The Tim McAuliffe tag is also on the left front tail and has been restitched and reapplied, but is believed to be the original tag. A letter from vintage equipment expert Darrell O'Mary accompanies this jersey. A very scarce 2-year style flannel!Tags: None
