    Paul Molitor's playing career ended with impressive numbers -- a career average of .306, 235 home runs, 1307 RBI and 3319 hits. He was elected to Baseball's Hall of Fame in 2004. Known mostly for his line-drive hitting ability, Molitor's 3319 career hits include 605 doubles and 114 triples. In 1996, he drove in a career-high 113 run and hit just nine home runs. His career high was 22 home runs in a season -- coming in 1993 -- and he never hit more than 20 in any other season of his career. He was a seven-time All Star, a four time Silver Slugger Award winner, and a member of the 1993 World Champion Toronto Blue Jays.

    This bat was manufactured by Cooper and bears Paul Molitor's name stamped on the barrel. The bat has Cooper professional labeling that extended into 1995. The Model Number H176 appears on the barrel of this bat. The bat has a two-tone finish, with a natural finished handle and a black finish on the barrel. It measures 34 inches in length and currently weighs approximately 32 ounces. Manufacturer's stampings indicating the length (34") and weight (32 oz.) of this bat are also stamped into the knob. This bat is uncracked and exhibits numerous game use characteristics, including rack marks, hit marks, ball marks, and an area of grain separation on the barrel.

    Paul Molitor has signed this bat in silver marker on the barrel below the barrel label. The signed inscription reads "Paul Molitor 1993 W.S." The autograph has been authenticated by Autograph Certification Experts (hologram A10020) and Global (hologram GV09411.)View Lot Detail page
