Albert Pujols has quickly become regarded as one of the best and most dangerous hitters in baseball today. On In 2008 he became the first player in baseball history to hit 30 or more home runs in each of his first eight seasons. Since his debut in 2001, Pujols has won the Rookie of the Year Award (2001), the Most Valuable Player Award (2005), and a World Championship (2006.) In 2008, Albert finished in the top 5 of each Triple Crown category, batting .357 with 37 home runs and 116 RBIs.
