Clayton Kershaw 2008 LA Dodgers Game Worn Batting Helmet (Dodgers/Steiner LOA)

On May 24, 2008, Kershaw's minor league contract was purchased by the Dodgers, and was added to the active roster. He made his debut on May 25, starting against the St. Louis Cardinals. He pitched six innings, allowed two runs and recorded seven strikeouts. Kershaw won his first major league game against the Washington Nationals on July 27, 2008. He pitched six-plus shutout innings, allowing four hits, a walk, and struck out five. The Dodgers have high hopes for this young pitcher who has the potential to become a key part of the Dodgers starting rotation for many years to come.

This single flap Dodgers helmet was worn by the rookie Kershaw. The front has the interlocking LA while the back adorns the #22 and the MLB logo. Inside the helmet is the Rawlings logo and a size 7 ½ sticker. Helmet displays good use.

    COA from Dodgers/Steiner.
