This pitching rubber was used on the main field during the final season at Shea Stadium. It was used for six games during a Mets homestand from June 23 – June 29, 2008. Over those six games, the Mets lost 2 of 3 games to the Seattle Mariners as well as 2 of 3 to the New York Yankees. During that span, this pitching rubber was used by the likes of Johan Santana, John Maine, Pedro Martinez, Andy Pettite, Sidney Ponson and Mariano Rivera.
