Michael Barrett 2004 Road Chicago Cubs Game Worn Jersey

Michael Barrett is a catcher for the San Diego Padres. He began his career in 1998 with the Montreal Expos and was later traded to the Chicago Cubs.

Road gray Chicago Cubs jersey worn by Michael Barrett for most of the 2004 season. Jersey exhibits extensive evidence of use, including major pilling in the shoulder areas as a result of Barrett's catcher's gear. Most importantly, this jersey has a number change from Barrett's original #5 to the #8, which happened when he gifted his #5 to new teammate Nomar Garciaparra in 2004. Strip tag in the collar indicates the original number on the jersey "5 48 04 S1". Also tagged on the inside with a pro-coded "0062" wash tag and on the outside of the tail with a Majestic tag and a size 48 flag tag.
