Mike Easler 1983-85 Louisville Slugger Professional Model Bat

This is a Mike Easler game-used professional model baseball bat manufactured by the Hillerich & Bradsby Company. It is a signature model with Easler's name stamped in script on the barrel as he had an endorsement contract with the company at the time of manufacture. This bat has what is commonly referred to as 1980-83 era labeling, and is specific to Easler's time with the Pittsburgh Pirates (1977-83). The Model Number P72 is stamped into barrel of this bat. The bat has a flame treated finish. It measures 35 inches in length and currently weighs approximately 32.5 ounces. The number 24 is evident on the knob of this bat, written in vintage red marker. Easler wore uniform number 24 his entire time with the Pirates. This bat exhibits a significant number of game use characteristics, including light pine tar remnants, hit marks, ball marks, and rack marks. There is a small, non-displaced crack on the handle, which has been repaired and is difficult to see, and does not detract from the display of this bat at all. View Lot Detail page
