Shea Stadium Game Used Base From Carlos Delgado's 450th HR & Johan Santana's 1,500th Career Strikeout Game (NY Mets/MLB Auth)

On 7/22/08 the Mets lost 8-6 to the Phillies. However, in that game, Johan Santana pitched 8 innings, striking out four, and Carlos Delgado went 1 for 5 at the plate. Notably, one of the four strikeouts by Santana was the 1,500th of his career and Delgado's lone hit was his 450th home run in the majors.

This base, used in that game, has the New York Mets 1964-2008 Shea Stadium stamp on the top with the Mets and logo on the side plate. The base still has cleat and dirt marks from Shea. A great piece that has two milestone events associated with it.
