On August 2, 2008 more than 70 old-timers met up at Yankee Stadium to participate in the Old Timer's Game during the All-Star Game festivities. Such players as: Yogi Berra, Wade Boggs, Whitey Ford, Reggie Jackson, Dave Winfield and 2008 inductee Rich "Goose" Gossage were in attendance for the game. This official base has the Yankees "The Final Season" plate on the side. It displays cleat and dirt marks on the face from the players and Yankee Stadium.
