Yan comes from a notable hockey family, and is the son of Hockey Hall of Famer Peter Stastny, his uncles Anton and Marian Stastny also played in the NHL, and his brother Paul Stastny plays for the Colorado Avalanche. Stastny was the starting C for Notre Dame. This Adidas jersey has "Notre Dame" across the front with the player #11 on back and both sleeves. The interlocking Notre Dame logo is on both sleeves above the number all done in 3 dimensional gold on white tackle twill. On back on a blue nameplate is "STASTNY" sewn in white tackle twill.
