Tommy John played 26-year major league seasons, and is best remembered for his seasons with the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 1970s. He made appearances in the All-Star Game in 1968, 1978, 1979, and 1980. Despite appearing in three World Series, he never played on a major league championship team. Tommy John captured 288 career wins, and would have easily surpassed the 300 win plateau had he not missed most of the 1974 and 1975 seasons due to injuries.
