Esera Tauolo had a 9 year career as a starting nose tackle, 4 of which came with the Minnesota Viking. This helmet hails from his best statistical season (1995) as a member of the Minnesota Viking. He registered 24 tackles 3 sacks and 2 fumble recoveries as the starting nose tackle.
This 1992-96 helmet has all of the original decals, pads, facemask, and facemask clips. The large purple shell sports the famous Viking horn logo with proper contoured cuts around the snaps and clips. An NFL shield sticker grace the lower back shell along with a "VIKINGS" back bumper. On front between the dated clips is the front bumper with the "RIDDELL" name. The original face mask and clips complete the outer part of the helmet. On the inside of the helmet above the left jaw pad is a ½' piece of purple dymo tape with 98 TUALO on it. There is a 1994 reconditioning sticker above the left ear hole. The only non original part of this helmet is the chinstrap which was added in case the winner bidder wants it for display purposes. The wear is outstanding with tons of deep helmet to helmet gash marks. This helmet also has a size sticker with the range of 7 7/8 – 8 3/8 making it one of the largest helmets we have seen.View Lot Detail page
