Chin-Hui Tsao 2007 Game Used LA Dodgers Batting Helmet (Steiner LOA)

Tsao, born in Taiwan in 1981, is the second major league player of Taiwanese origin. He pitched for Taiwanese teams in five major international competitions, including the Junior World Championships (1996-97, 99), the 1999 Asia Cup and the 2004 Summer Olympics. He made two impressive appearances at the Olympics, going 0-1 with a 1.93 ERA and one save. He was also dominant in the 1999 Asia Cup, where he pitched 11 scoreless innings in three appearances, giving up only 3 hits and 1 walk while registering 19 strikeouts. He fanned 15 batters in his one start against China. Tsao is known for having one of Taiwan's best pitching arms. In the 2004 Olympics at Athens, he was clocked at 101mph at the park and 99mph on the TV gun.

This ventilated helmet was used by Tsao in the 2007 season. Though this helmet saw limited action in the batters box, Tsao was a factor in the Dodgers pitching success in the 2007 season. A size 7 3/8 identifier sticker is inside. On back are the player number "41" sticker and the MLB logo. On front is the interlocking Los Angeles "LA" sticker. The Steiner and MLB holograms are inside. The helmet shows light but evident use.
