This pitching rubber was used in the visitor bullpen at historic Yankee Stadium for one of the most storied rivalries in all of sports. It was used on April 6, 2005 when the Boston Red Sox faced the New York Yankees in the Bronx. In that game, the Red Sox beat the Yankees 7-3 after scoring 5 runs in the top of the ninth inning off Yankee closer Mariano Rivera.
