Keep in mind: MacGregor's last year as a supplier for MLB flannels was 1967. There were a few MacGregor jerseys that were carried over to 1968 (White Sox roads in particular, as team ownership was incredibly frugal about MLB level unies in that era.)
MacGregor's name did not show up again in the 3 major sports until their relationship with Sand-Knit began in 1985. There are a number of jerseys in the transition period in MLB, NFL and NBA that may show one of the 2 tail tags as MacGregor Sand-Knit and the other as Medalist Sand-Knit.

Thanks, Robert. I've just put together a few primers on the tagging history section of my website, although some are incomplete.
I am working on late 70s- early 80s Sand-Knit. These with include post 1985 MacGregor Sand-Knit. Many college and pro teams recycled and used carry-overs, so without a year tag it is difficult to pinpoint specific years.
Does anyone know when this Medalist Sand-Knit tag was first introduced?
