I would be concerned with the area of darkened substance to the left of the XBat label. It may be from someone removing the Dominican Flag sticker that is on bats purchased direct from the XBat company.

I have circled the spot below.

Here is a pic of a bat that was on AMI a while ago that shows the Dominican Flag.

Pujols X-Bats pre-2006 are always dicey because anyone could purchase a bat from the manufacturer just like the ones the players used. X-Bat changed its labeling in 2006. Additionally, X-Bat is a brand Pujols used rarely before 2006. Notice the photo you posted of Pujols is from 2006 (new label visible).
