Re: October pick-ups
Fred McGriff (#27) and Dave Justice (#23) g/u Braves helmets. Picked up both a few days ago. If you're into helmets, these are absolutely perfect. The Justice was made in early '93 and the McGriff was made in late '93, although I don't know if I'll ever know for sure what year they were really used - '95 would be awesome of course, especially with Justice's W.S. performance. Also got a '75 road Braves shirt. I'll post a few pics when it arrives.

Tym (and any other Mariners fans out there):
I would like to get the alternate G/U jersey of #59 Eric O' Flaherty if at all possible/reasonable. (I collect #59s). Are the Mariners selling their jerseys these days, or is this going to be a tough one?
Thanks,
Mark

Re: October pick-ups
That time of the year again! The teams that didn't make the playoffs start clearing lockers. Here are my latest additions:
2006-07 Luke Scott Astros Glove (Road Version)
The photo below is the only one I can find of Luke using this color schme. I was told he used it this year as well, but have no proof. HELP!!! I have been told he used an all black, black/red lacing, and this grey/red lacing style on the road.
2006-07 Mark Loretta Red Sox/Astros Glove
Mark started using this glove mid year in Boston last year and tossed it after this past Sunday's game. Here it is now!

Re: October pick-ups
Thanks guys, lots of nice pieces, thanks for sharing.
Indyred - The one at Safeco Field? No. I am discussing with them putting some of my pieces in it as they have some room for improvement.
On another note I am getting my Ichiro rookie jersey and batting gloves signed Monday, he is doing a private signing before heading out next week, really excited about that!
Cheers,
Ty

Re: October pick-ups
Just finished putting together a small project involving the 96 -98 Cardinals. While they were a threat in '96, they lost touch with ESPN until MAC arrived mid 1997 and well, you know what happened. Anyway, I used to go to batting practice at Busch with my buddies and Give Ron Gant a hard time about his gigantic pipes, and HOT wife. Had some really nice conversations with Brian Jordan and Ray Lankford too...the Rams would have been envious of the size and shape of those three outfielders - heck, Jordan WAS a football player! Here is my small tribute to Ray Ray, BJ and "Ronald "Gunz" Gant.
Dave
Jeff - thanks for the Gant model.Leave a comment:

Note the following message on the MLB authentication area...hopefully this will be resolved soon:
"The MLB Authentication Program Database is currently undergoing maintenance. During this period, there may be delays in publishing updates and additions to the hologram archive".Leave a comment:

Re: October pick-ups
I finally got myself a Sosa bat, have wanted one forever!! Also was able to get a signed one, which is very hard to get him to sign them. It is even MLB authenticated but the hologram is not registered??? This is the 2nd item I have got where MLB databasers have not logged in. Pics are bad, took them at work with my cell phone

Re: October pick-ups
Ty,
WOW! Impressive collection of Seattle Mariners items, great job!
I remember a years ago Ichiro was selling signed game used items thru Upper Deck and his sports agent. The items were expensive but you know they were authentic!
I have a signed Ken Griffey Jr. and Edgar Martinez game used bats from their Mariners day in my collection.
Thanks for sharing your website!
