I am with "The Legend" on this one...

We both collect Ray Lankford stuff - although I am not exclusively dedicated to Ray. I agree that his stuff is becoming scarce because people are beginning to remember what a great player he was.

I guess that it's true of many players - like Willie McGee...another guy I collect that the supply is drying up on.

I am fortunate to have found another person that has a Lankford collection in case I decide to move some items, etc.

Of my collection of Cardinal outfielders, I guess I have about 30 bats. Most are players that I enjoyed watching...Eric Davis, Brian Jordan, Ron Gant, Willie McGee, Ray, Edmonds, etc.

value is unimportant...

My favorite player is Barry Bonds. Iknow he's not like by many on the forum, but pre steroids and post steroids he's the most dominated player I have ever seen. They pitched to Arod, Mantle, Mays, Dimaggio, but Barry the pitchers feared him more thany anyone else. Living in San Francisco and being a season ticket holder, there was nothing like it when Barry came to the plate.

My all time favorite Baseball player is Don Mattingly but I am a die hard rays and all I collect is Rays items so getting anything mattingly would go outside my colelction... My favorite Rays of all time is Russell Branyan

Larry Bird of course. I have his game used 1991-92 home playoff jersey that he signed and gave to teammate Brian Shaw. I have his game used 1992 game six playoff Converse shoes dated 5-15-92. I have his game used 1988 road warmup jacket, and a pair of game used shorts too.
