I went on Friday to the show and was actually able to get in at 3:00 p.m. when in fact the show was slated to open at 5:00 p.m. As I walked in the entrance area, the first people I met were Dave and Troy. Maybe that is why there was not too much game used items for sale.

I too was VERY Surprised there was not more Game Used Stuff.

I went on Saturday to have Frank Thomas sign my Game Used 5/27/07 Jays at Twins Lineup Card. Wish I would have saved the $99 now. Notice the date on the Lineup Card... it is his birthday. MLB holo on the lineup card and it is nice..but being a Jays fan I can not get over it is the Twins Lineup card and signed by Ron Gardenhire too.

I ended up selling my Jays bobble collection and probably should not have at the price I let it go for.

But , went with a friend and it is always nice to get out of the house.
So all in all , I guess, it was a good day.

Just wondering if anyone else went to the Chicago Sun Times show and picked anything up. Here are a few of my new items.... Overall it was an ok show, I was kinda disappointed there wasnt that much gu memorabilia but I was still able to find a few things and not leave empty handed.

Prince Filder autographed and inscribed game used helmet. I got the helmet last week and paid for him to sign it at the show today.



Prince Fielder autographed game used glove. I picked up 2 left handed gloves of his on Friday, gave one to a friend of mine and got mine signed today.


Andre Johnson (WR for Houston Texans) autographed game worn cleats from 2006 and 07 pro bowl weekend. Photo matched to when the Texans wore their alternate red jerseys in 06. They even have spots of red, whit, and blue turf paint on the bottoms still



Ron Dayne (Heisman and UW Badger Alum) game used cleats. Came with a coa from the Giants and were worn 11/28/04 vs Eagles
