Nice Pierre helmet, bonerubbedbat. My most photo-matched piece has to be Terry Steinbach's catchers helmet. I bought it from Barry Wolfsheimer of Ball 4 back in 1991. I've matched it to cards, photos and game footage from '87, '88, '89 and '90, including the '88, '89 and '90 World Series and the 88 and 89 all-star games.

I have a Pujols bat with some very distinct markings and I have been trying to photo match... so far no luck... but i'll keep at it.

I am dying to get my hands on a Posada or a Guerrero game use helmets, those 2 guys put the most damn pine tar on helmet then I have ever seen. Seems like they put more pine tar on there helmets then there actual bats lol lol

BoneRubbed that would be pretty common as most players use the same helmet throughout one season maybe at most 2.
Unless of course they are a switchitter which most likely they would wear 2 or more.

I ask this question after researching a game used 2007 Dodgers Juan Pierre helmet I obtained from Steiner last week. I have found photos of Pierre wearing this helmet from every month during the regular season. It appears to have been his only helmet for the season.

Most of the photos came from MLB.com and have the date in the upper right corner of the photo.
