Possible match but i would need to see more photos of the bat from different angles to be sure. The photo i found shows similar markings and tar but of course your has more use later on. This picture was from aug 4th.
Tom, How did you like PNC Park? The real question is, how does a guy come home to a bat like this? Was it just waiting on the porch for you(lol). I need to have some luck like that. The Jeter bat looks sweet and someday hopefully soon I will get my 1st Yankees gamer. Enjoy, Mike
Mike,
It was awesome. It was my second time at PNC and the stadium is very nice. Seeing my team there on the road for all 3 games (2 because of rainout) was pretty cool.
I actually ordered the bat before I left and it was delivered on like Monday. But I had to wait until I got home on Friday to see it. The anticipation was kiler.

I just got back from a week in Pittsburgh watching the Yankees vs. Pirates. Had a great time down there and will probably make another post with pics about that later.
But, when I got home I had this waiting for me:
2008 Derek Jeter Game Used Bat - Steiner
It's totally awesome!! I am very happy to add a bat from the captain to my collection.
If anyone can find a photomatch, it would be greatly appeciated.
