Here's my most hammered jersey:







Willy Taveras 2006 WBC jersey. Dirt came from sliding into 2nd, and as for the blood, I have no clue where that came from. I'm bringing this jersey to Turner Field soon when the Rockies come to town and I plan on asking Taveras (if I can get his attention) to see if he might remember where the blood came from.

I have an 88-89 road Boston Bruins Ray Bourque jersey with over 50 repairs.

Since I started the topic, I'll post mine.




Besides being completely trashed with stick and puck marks, I count a total of 98 repairs in it from a single season. There's only 8 of them in the body panels; the rest are in the sleeves and the seams of the jersey.

Rich 'Tombstone' Jackson's 1967-68 Broncos jersey. Has 50+ repairs. Due to the Broncs lack of funds in the 60's, Rich had to also use this as a practice jersey in 1969 when they changed jersey styles which also added to the wear.

For me, it is a Darian barnes Buccaneers 2003 white jersey, it has 15 team repairs, hit marks and i photo matched it to 4 games. Finding a pounded new NFL jersey with that much use seems pretty rare with players switching jerseys so much now-a-days

It's easy for me too.Here is a Walt McDonald AAFC Brooklyn Dodgers jersey.It has a few holes,a few repairs,a few stains and a little blood stain.
