i believe the crab nebula is from storing the bat in a cheap bat tube and having the black cover heat up at some point or years of storage. the barrel of the bat is in direct contact with the cover, no sponge or foam between the two.
DON'T ASK how i know that!!!!

You can do it, I have to do it on a regular basis when a player sends in a bat and wants it spec'd. Kind of hard to get exact handle specs with the damn thing covered in pine tar. My other favorite is tape. They'll send in a bat and want it spec'd with the tape on it. I get it done, it's just a matter of taking your time.Leave a comment:
