In the current Coach's Corner auction there is an alleged Roger Maris 1966 game used jersey "that comes certified by MEARS Memorabilia Evaluation!"

This New York Yankees home pinstriped #9 jersey from Wilson comes with the appropriate tagging, including a "66" year tag! It was game worn in 1966 by the 2 time AL MVP Roger Maris, and has been kept in excellent overall condition. The jersey shows excellent Major League game use, and is a size 42, button-up model. This is a fabulous piece of New York Yankees lore, one that comes certified by MEARS Memorabilia Evaluation! A unique and rarely seen piece that values at $25,000!!!

According to the MEARS web site, there has been only one 1966 Roger Maris jersey evaluated, and this was/is the result.
