I thought Giants fans may appreciate my 1971 Brad Van Pelt Michigan State baseball flannel. Before his pro bowl career with the G-Men, Van Pelt lettered in football, basketball and baseball at MSU. Brad signed the jersey at a basketball reunion event.

looks battered ,,,great use. enjoy the smell!
the material is unlike anything ive seen, i have a white 2005 shockey as well and compared them. obviously they werent using this "spongetech" (i guess) material. it literally looks like it can fit a 15 year old like a regular tshirt but it has the ability to stretch ALOT!

as far as ive seen i think only the colts, jags, and giants have this material. absolutely great quality and yes it stinks! tons of wear, just like i like them!

I guess this would be the place to post my question. I was told this Harry Carson was an extra made up by Gerry Cosby but never sent to the team. Do tags and numbering seem to match up with that?

May be thinning out my Nebraska Cornhusker game used collection, and thought you Giants fans may be interested in this years first round pick Prince Amukamara's college jersey.

AWA85@live.com if I can help add to a Giants collection.

Anyone get any new Giants stuff?

I just recently figured out which game Pierce wore this jersey. It was against the 49ers on October 21, 2007. The Giants crushed the 9ers and Antonio had an interception and several tackles. Looks like he wore this jersey for only one game. The jersey was washed, but some of the marks still remain. I wish I had the time/skills to show the matches with pics, but I do not.

Here are some old-school Giants jerseys that I hope you enjoy viewing.

The #77 jersey is a durene jersey worn by Rich (Dick) Buzin from Penn State who played with the Giants from 1968-1970. An interesting jersey as it was worn in 1969 as evidenced by the prominent outline of the NFL 50th anniversary patch on the left sleeve, and was recyled for use in 1970 as there is evidence that a nameplate was on the back (NFL teams did not start putting names on jerseys until 1970). This jersey originally had long-sleeves, but they were cut somewhere along the way.

The #46 jersey is from the early 1970s. It is a good example of Sand Knit's first efforts in manufacturing mesh jerseys. As was typical of Sand Knit mesh jerseys of that era, there is only one layer of mesh in the shoulder area. The numbers were sewn-on this jersey, not screened-on. Based on the Sand Knit wash tag, the earliest the jersey could have been used was 1972 or '73. The jersey does not appear to have ever been worn as there are no signs of wear or that a plate was ever on the back.

The Zeke Mowatt jersey has a 1988 (88) year tag in tail and shows some game use.
