Re: What is your #1 favorite thing in your entire collection?

I know I've posted this before, but the locker nameplate that Cal removed from his locker (a la Joe Green) and gave me after the last home game of the '88 season will always be my favorite. If anyone is ever interested about the story behind Billy's locker nameplate that evening (pretty cool story) let me know...

    John,
Thanks for the kind words. Hopefully I can have a memorabilia room comparable to yours one day, I look forward to seeing your new Red Sox additions.
    Happy Holidays, Bobby

My 1995-96 Michael Jordan game used and signed XI shoes. Came directly from Charles Oakley (MJ's best friend) after a Knicks game. Comes with a picture of Oakley holding the shoes.

Two things: My Rochester Red Wings home flannel from '64 and my Bobby Grich Red Wings hat from '71, the year he was Minor League Player of the Year.

If anyone ever wants to sell a Cardinals Mac SIGNED bat, pounded like I keep seeing in these images, please contact skyking442@hotmail.com, regardless of when that may be. I was given some info from a kind collector today that ballpark heroes has a 98, but the bat looks game ready like so many that were likely given out by McGwire as gifts that year. At $1495, I'll pass on a bat with limited use like that one...

Alright. i went ahead and took pictures of my McGwire 2000 signed cracked gamer. Here is the barrell with the seam marks that i had no idea existed until Bob just told me about. Look at the pounding on this bat. I almost shat myself when i saw it in the light.. and below i posted pics of the new Longoria signed gamer i got the other day. The seem marks are nutz on that one also.

Well if it was a BP there would be more marks. So it looks like this was in deed a gamer!!
