    Never mind. I realized I couldn't get my bat weight on if I taped the knob so scratch that idea.

    So I'm trying to copy the Ricky Weeks tape job, I was able to tape the handle, but does anyone know how to tape the knob like that?

    But the downside is that it's really thick compared to athletic tape.

    That actually seems like a good idea, I play tennis, and it's much more tacky and more "grippy" if you will, than the regular tape guys use. I never thought of using it on a bat, but it's a great idea. Surprised more guys don't use it, but then again it might be so tacky that it's uncomfortable to swing. Ricardo

    Yes he does use tennis tape like his father. Tony Gywnn Jr. bat is the top bat in the pictures.

    Nope just that nothing like tape/pinetar/motastick etc can be above 18 inches or something like that
