first time photo matching a game used jersey - is this right?
Re: first time photo matching a game used jersey - is this right?
Looks good to me. Loose threads can be a valuable resource to photomatching. I was able to photomatch 2 Braves BP jerseys due to only loose threads. But, if you ever question a photomatch, I've learned a way to be even more sure that you have a photomatch. Look for anything that would prove that the jersey you have and the jersey in the picture could be different. I first always look at alignment, since not every jersey out there has logos sewn in the same exact spots. And another thing could be any other marks that would be on the jersey that you don't see on the one your have. The alignment on your jersey, along with the loose threads look perfect to me, and this is a really nice photomatch.

Thank you all for your time and feedback. There are also some very visible threads on the back numerals though I haven't been able to find additonal photographs depicting the back of the player yet.
Do any of you also know where I could find copies of games as I would also like to attempt to match the jersey when they show close ups of the player shooting free-throws. Thank you.
first time photo matching a game used jersey - is this right?
Hello:
this is the first time I purchased a game used jersey and was looking for photographs to match the games this player wore it in. do these look to correspond with the jersey? I'm using the "O" and "R" in "York" as a reference based on the threads that are coming out from the bottom of these letters. thank you for your feedback.
