Re: BMH - Scott Schoeneweis bats
I like the old time look of the branding from that old time equipment.
The modern stamping on some of the 2004 bats and those horrible M9 center label (what are they stickers?) just doesn't scream HB to me
Schoeneweis had a total of 1 at bat in all of 2008 and 0 at bats in 2007 his only years with the Mets. No surprise he didn't need to order any bats in 2008.
So Brian can you please share the details of the 2007 order?

Re: BMH - Scott Schoeneweis bats
Well, it could be a bat from 2007, he did order from us then.
As for branding...well we have a 90yr. old burn branding machine using 40-50yr old letter's being held in by a 40-50yr old plate. On top of that, it is burned into a tapering surface...I see no room for error on that one
It's part of what makes it a Louisville Slugger...Leave a comment:

Re: BMH - Scott Schoeneweis bats
Good Question!
Perhaps BMH can shed some light though I've seen inconsistant stampings between letters on some other Block Letter HBs I own. Perhaps when the name was branded in the plates were not set at the same height or the same fonts?Leave a comment:

Why does it look like some of the letters are branded different.Leave a comment:

Godwulf,
Scott's name has to be one of the most misspelled names in baseball.
It probably ranks up there with "Mientkiewicz"Leave a comment:

I stand corrected - it is Schoeneweis.Leave a comment:

Re: BMH - Scott Schoeneweis bats
I'm pretty sure the correct spelling is SCHOENWEIS.Leave a comment:

Re: BMH - Scott Schoeneweis bats
If that is the correct spelling of his name, he didn't order any bats from us.Leave a comment:

BMH,
Would you be able to share how many bats/models numbers were sent to Scott Schoeneweis during his 2008 season with the Mets?
