Thanks to all who have posted and also contacted me regarding this "1977 gamer". Based on the information I've been told, this shirt has several issues including the numbers and especially the standard Rawlings brand nameplate. According to those familiar with this era of O's jerseys, the plate should have a greater arch formation:



Any additional insight on the Grey Flannel 1977 Palmer is appreciated.

Don't know where to begin...The nameplate, the size of the front numerals and the flag tag all look odd to me.........

I concur...especially the front #s and the flag tag. Too many red flags on this one to suit me.

3731) 1977 Jim Palmer Baltimore Orioles Game-Used & Autographed Home Jersey

Inside the right front tail is the “Rawlings” manufacturers tag with wash instructions and jersey size “42.” Attached is a flag tag with “SET 1 1977.” On back is “PALMER” done in orange on black tackle twill on a white nameplate. Player number “22” appears on the front and back in the same orange on black tackle twill. On back is Palmer’s autograph with inscription “HOF 1990 1973, 75, 76 Cy Young 77 Game Used” done in black marker rating an 8. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
