I see we are missing a few listed on Chris Creamer's site and there are some nice closeups of the patch designs.

One nice thing about our own list that is lacking with Mr. Creamer's site is the experience that our members have shared as far as historical significance, time period worn, location on uniforn, and the type of uniform (home/road)that the patch was used on.

If anyone can verify this type of information for any patch that is missing from our list, please post the detail to this thread.

here's what you're missing:

1973 - yankee stadium 50th anniversary patch
1995 - it wasn't just the #7 for mantle. it also included a black armband.
1998 - yankee stadium 75th anniversary patch worn on BP jerseys only
2007 - #10 wasn't worn for hank bauer. bauer never wore #10. the #10 memorial was for phil rizzuto.

Ok, i have a road Set 1 Joe Cowley from 85 that doesn't have the armband for Pete Sheehy, and it doesn't seem like it's been removed; can anyone add when this band was on the jerseys? Was it on home and road? Thanks.John

Looks like Cowley pitched in 18 games for the Yanks in '85 before Sheehy died so his set 2 jersey wherever that is probably has the armband.
