My understanding these were Desert Storm stickers -- have a Giants John Burkett helmet with this sticker.

I have a Detroit Tigers Milt Cuyler batting helmet with the same two country's sticker although I don't recall why they did it.

Roger, thanks for the heads-up. I figured it might tie back to the Blue Jays and/or the Skydome All Star game. The All Star game was in Toronto in 1991 as well but Belle didnt make the All Star team that year. Any other ideas? I thought perhaps a 1991 batting helmet but am looking around to see other examples.

I'll double check on a couple of my helemts, but pretty sure those were worn for desert storm.

I came across an Indians helmet for sale with some flag stickering I have never seen before and was wondering if anyone else on the board had ever seen it. Any insight would be appreciated.
