Re: Going rate for bat repair?
If its a basic want as far as putting two pieces back together I found some great small clamps made by Irwin at Lowes that Have rubber tips on both sides and work great for glueing, the one caution is to check the wood periodically because it foams out of the crack which is not big deal if you wipe it immediately.

Re: Going rate for bat repair?
I'm a carpenter and repair my own bats and friends. Never had a complaint. If anyone wants to try me, send me photos of the repair needed to my email and we'd go from there. I would not be as expensive as some of the prices quoted...

Re: Going rate for bat repair?
I know this is a case-by-case sort of thing I'd assume, but I'm talking basic bat with a crack (maybe a small bit of work to get the pieces flush).
What is the ballpark rates on this sort of work? $50? $500 $5000? I'd just like a frame of reference.
Also, has anyone gotten good results from either John Taube or Fred Lowman they could post?Leave a comment:
